The series

What happens to a person when no one believes them?

Listen is a film series featuring the personal stories of people who were deeply affected by the COVID vaccine. Much of it is told through their own private videos as they tried to find someone to listen. They have spent years trying to be heard. Some are still fighting. Others gave up.

Help us tell their stories.

The filmmaker

Jennifer Sharp is an NYU graduate and an award-winning filmmaker with more than five features to her name.

In 2023, she released Anecdotals, a personal documentary that grew out of her own vaccine reaction. Community groups held screenings, and a Bermuda cinema added a free showing to meet demand.

Determined to tell the story carefully, she had the film vetted by a team of lawyers before release. YouTube pulled it anyway, then, in a rare move, reinstated it after an appeal and a review of the film and its legal vetting. It has since been viewed and shared more than one million times across platforms.

Listen. is the next chapter.
